The SVG has two layers in their own colors: the outline (backer) sits behind the letters. In Glowforge each color becomes its own step — set the outline to cut and the letters to cut or engrave, or put each on its own material.
The file is sized to the real-world width you set, so it imports at the right scale. Everything is a true vector path (no fonts required on the other end).
